Commercial Vehicle – Parts Sales Manager

Position Overview:
A multinational OEM in the commercial vehicle manufacturing industry requires the services of a Parts Sales Manager.
The Parts Sales Manager will possess experience in automotive parts sales, leadership, customer relationship management.
One will be responsible in driving and developing the company’s sales business in South Africa. The selected candidate will meet set objectives with regards to sales volumes, gross profit, growth, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty.
The Parts Sales Manager will plan promotion activities to improve parts penetration and customer retention. Furthermore, the ideal candidate should also possess strong sales skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to drive revenue growth.
To be considered for this position, one must have:
- A completed Diploma in Business, Marketing or similar.
- 10 years relevant experience in:
- Parts Sales (Retail and Wholesale) within the Heavy Commercial Vehicle Industry.
- Parts Business Management within the heavy commercial vehicle industry in an OE Environment.
- OEM and Dealer Parts Inventory Management / Dealer Sales, Dealer Development and Dealer Support.
- Commercial Parts Product Development and Market Positioning.
- Product knowledge including the Complete Vehicles Offerings and Truck Industry.
- Proficient in Excel, Pivot Tables, Data Analysis.
- Solid understanding of the Pricing Mechanisms and Price Positioning / understanding of the Principles of Marketing and Promotions.
- Parts Inventory Control and Supply Chain knowledge required at Dealer and OEM Level.
