Director – Financial Due Diligence

Position Overview:
A global professional services concern is seeking to employ an experienced Director in their Financial Due Diligence department.
One’s responsibilities will include leading buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements to both listed, unlisted and private equity businesses. Coordinate and manage clients, engagement teams, third parties (relevant to the deal) throughout the transaction process. Analyse Target information to identify key business trends, quality of earnings, networking capital considerations, and net debt and other potential liabilities that may impact the valuation.
The Director of Financial Due Diligence will create, and design financial due diligence reports specific to the scope of work and manage the delivery team to provide real-time feedback, guidance and coaching to client and other third parties relevant to the transaction. Communicate and resolve issues as they arise, and lead and participate in people development and business development efforts.
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience Required:
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in financial due diligence
- CA(SA) / CFA Charter holder / MBA / Masters
- Extensive experience in Project Management (small to large teams, clients, Target, partners and third-party advisors on the deal)
- Strong current knowledge of IFRS / US GAAP, M&A and Transaction Advisory Services
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with prior applicable business development experience
- Willingness and ability to travel, including internationally
