General Manager – Logistics Preference will be given to BBBEE candidates due to BEE requirements. Location: Midrand Position Overview: A reputable leading company within the Supply Chain and Logistics industry has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced General Manager. The General Manager will be accountable for a key client account within the liquor industry. The aim of the team is to provide the company and the key client account with the relevant key supply of dedicated and ad-hoc fleet requirements and related staff, account management, reporting, information, and decision support to assist in optimising operations and to identify, test and implement related supply chain cost saving initiatives.   Key Performance Areas:

  Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • A minimum of 10 Years’ experience in Supply Chain, and especially with Logistics Commercial and Operational experience
  • A relevant completed BCom; Logistics; BSc or B.Eng degree
  • Liquor industry experience
  • Computer literacy – MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point (intermediate level)
  • Knowledge of Power BI is essential
  • Project management experience
