Senior Manager: IT Programme Management Office (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng

A well-established financial organisation is seeking to appoint a Senior Manager: IT Programme Management Office on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis.
Position Overview:
The incumbent of this position will be expected to support leadership to deliver business transformation and operational projects in Information Communications Technology successfully.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Implementing leading practices in the project management office (PMO).
- Acquiring and/or reskilling resource in the PMO for successfully delivery of projects.
- Establishing effective project governance structures.
- Facilitates the implementation of the BU strategic plan.
- Responsible for relationship management.
- Management the output of the entire ICT business.
Essential experience and qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent NQF 7 qualification.
- Project Management knowledge and skill.
- Professional Certification – Prince 2 and/or PMBOK .
- ITIL and COBIT Certification required.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant Project and Program Management experience, including 5 plus years of experience in managing staff.
- Extensive experience in leading Project Management and Reporting Tools, including PowerPoint and MS Project.
- Experience in developing functional and Business Plans to support the BU strategy.
- Ability to provide thought leadership based on research and leading practices.
- One must be available and willing to commit to a 12-month FTC term.
