Accountant
Location: Pretoria East, Gauteng.
A well-established accounting, tax and consulting firm based in Pretoria has an exciting opportunity available for a Professional Accountant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accounting work is done correctly, occasionally read, review and interpretation of the bank statements independently.
- Ensure sure payroll is correct, may also be required to complete independently.
- Compliance – Ensure sure all taxes (PAYE, UIF, VAT, IT, WCA) are up to date and correct.
- Draft management statements and analyse the figures to look for improvements.
- Assist the tax team where necessary.
- Implement corporate transactions where necessary.
Minimum Requirements to be considered for this position:
- Afrikaans home language, essential.
- A completed Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting degree.
- 5+ Years’ experience working in an Audit or Accounting Practice.
- Currently residing in Pretoria.
